Les Aventures du Professeur Caillou is a France Inter podcast created in collaboration with the BRGM (the French Geological Survey) to introduce children aged 7–11 to the world of geology and minerals. The series follows the quirky duo of Professor Pierrette Caillou and her colleague Abel as they respond to "cailloutolettres" (stone-letters) from chemical elements in distress, such as Lithium, Gold, or Silicon. Through these humorous and educational missions, listeners learn about the geological origins of metals, their role in daily technology, and the environmental stakes of recycling and extraction.
